ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW BOARD MEETING 

 

August 21, 2006

 

 

      The meeting was called to order by Chairman Charlie Anderson at 7:10 p.m. in the Town Hall.

      Board members present: Chairman Charlie Anderson, Scotty Lynch, Billy Howk, Jeannette Burger

      Board members absent: Michael Cies, Alternate Deborah Patch

      The City Secretary read the minutes of the June 20, 2006 meeting. Motion by Burger to approve the minutes as read; second by Howk. Motion passed with all in favor. The City Secretary then read the statement that the August 15, 2006 meeting had been cancelled due lack of a quorum. Motion by Burger to accept the statement; second by Howk. Motion passed with all in favor.

      The Board considered the following items:

  1. Permit for an enclosure for a walk-in cooler at the restaurant at 109 Bauer Rummel Road (Chef Pasquale's): Leah Hopkins and Nancy Berg were present to represent the item. They stated that the new structure would be painted to match the existing building. After discussion of the materials, roof pitch, and placement of the structure, it was determined that the final roof pitch and materials could not be determined until the cooler was in place. Motion by Burger to approve the application for a building permit to construct a structure to house a walk-in cooler for the restaurant at 109 Bauer Rummel Road, with the condition that a drawing of the final dimensions, materials, and roof pitch be submitted and approved by Chairman Charlie Anderson and Building Official Bill Zeltwanger prior to construction; second by Lynch. Motion passed with all in favor.

•2.      Change in regular meeting date: Motion by Burger to change the regular meeting date of the Architectural Review Board to 7:00 p.m. on the third Monday of each month; second by Howk. Motion passed with all in favor.

  1. Other business: There was none.

      There being no other business, the meeting adjourned at 7:35 p.m.
