September 22, 2006
The meeting was called to order by Vice-Chairman Jeannette Burger at 5:05 p.m. in the Town Hall.
Board members present: Scotty Lynch, Billy Howk, Jeannette Burger
Board members absent: Chairman Charlie Anderson, Michael Cies, Alternate Deborah Patch
Building Official Bill Zeltwanger was also present.
The City Secretary read the minutes of the September 18, 2006 meeting, pointing out several typographical errors. Motion by Howk to approve the minutes as corrected; second by Lynch. Motion passed with all in favor.
The Board considered the following item:
•1. Addition of doorways, window, and signs to the existing barn at 114 Wantke Street: Tess Williams-Coleman was present to represent the item. Vice-Chairman Burger recognized Pancho Howze, who expressed his concern that no action had been taken to move and conceal the dumpster at Village Green. He also questioned how the addition to the restaurant building had been approved without a plan. To questions from the Board, Mrs. Williams-Coleman provided the following answers:
Motion by Lynch to approve the application to add two doorway entrances and one sliding window to the existing 19' x 26' barn at 114 Wantke Street in Village Green and to place two wooden signs on top of the east and west sides of the roof; second by Howk. Motion passed with all in favor.
There being no other business, the meeting adjourned at 5:29 p.m.
Respectfully Submitted, Approved,
